Hotel Lyskirchen Koeln - Cologne

Great indoor pool and helpful staff, but rooms lack privacy in bathrooms.

Small nice hotel close to Heumark with comfortable rooms and nice spa area! Gayfriendly and close to gay area!

I appreciated the hotel, it was big and fairly clean, location was brilliant and awesome near the train station. There were lovely beds and a private safe, central heating and an electronic key card inside the room. Location: the property was very close to the most famous and beautiful monuments everyone could visit in Cologne, Altstadt and very good value pricing, and the River and Restaurants. I found Frueh am Dom offering shots and different drinks 1 km of the venue.

Lack of hot water in the shower affected comfort!!! Unfriendly reception staff didn't provide information about in-house amenities!!! Rooms were noisy with excessive street sound!!!

Upon arrival, the indoor pool caught my attention with a refreshing escape during my downtime. My room had a nice coffee machine that came with coffee and espresso supplied, a lovely touch for my mornings. I also enjoyed the complimentary water bottle available to guests was nice. There were definitely some hiccups that need addressing. The pool area, while inviting, could use better maintenance as I found it a bit messy at times. The breakfast experience fell short as the hot food items were occasionally served cold. The gym had limited equipment, just three machines and a mat, so it wasn't quite what I expected for a hotel of this caliber. The room overall was decent, though I encountered some issues with the air conditioning that detracted from my comfort. I wished for better room maintenance, as the noise from outside was a bit disruptive . My expectations were high but not fully met, disappointing given the price point.

The indoor pool was perfect. My room was spacious, with a cozy armchair and a great shower. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety that included delicious fruits and great coffee. It really set a nice tone for each day!

The air conditioning was a bit inconsistent.

Probably the most comfortable bed, pillow and duvet of any hotel >I have ever slept in. Convenient for central Koeln.

The room was bigger than I expected and had a cozy armchair that made relaxing easy. I loved hanging out at the indoor pool and the sauna after a long day of sightseeing. Only downside was the limited TV channels, but who needs TV when you're having fun? 😊

I loved the AC and the location

I wish the hot tub would have been open past 10 pm.

Bed was very comfortable and it was quiet - got a great sleep. Also very central and near to the trade show.
